Women subordinating women. Ladies and gentlemen, may I present to you the new generation. This is a perfect example of how negatively our patriarchal society has affected its women. She barely looks old enough for high school, and this is what this girl has grown to believe: that this is how she -and all other women- must live in order to be a responsible, productive, and healthy member of society. I’m seriously so sick of women subordinating each other like this. All it does is degrade and oppress us as a gender from within. It’s especially bad here where I’m from. Feminism pretty much isn’t even a word here, and nobody wants to associate themselves with the “feminist” movement because of the stigma attached to it, like it’s some psycho lesbian cult or something.
